I was born and raised in Puerto Rico where we spent most weekends at the beach. I went to school at St. Joseph’s University in Philly for international studies and French. Got married to a good friend and moved to Northern New Jersey working for international telecom consultants. I was always the one making birthday cards for my co-workers.

Relocated to Connecticut where I finished a degree in graphic design and worked at NBC creating their graphics for the evening news. Have traveled extensively in Europe & the Caribbean, being Ireland, Majorca and the island of St. John as my favorite places to go.

At the start of the new millennium, we moved to Cleveland. Here I became a mom and started my card business. With my son’s arrival from Guatemala at 7 months, I needed announcements, invitations for christening, etc… That’s when I began making cards. My friends and family loved my designs and started ordering invitations and calling cards. Piccolino Designs was born!

As a freelance graphic designer, I have created logos for Casentric, LLC, Tombstone View Farm in  Cleveland; Atelier Pilates studio in Boston and for small entrepreneurs locally and in Puerto Rico. For card illustrations, I have created the holiday greeting cards for Porter Wright law firm in  Cleveland, Bruce & Bruce architecture/design firm in Miami, and numerous custom-ordered  invitations and stationery.

My current product line is CITY DESIGNS, which is dedicated to designs of iconic buildings from Cleveland and other cities. Mugs, magnets, stationery are carried in Cleveland area stores and in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
